​Mobile Alterations & Custom Design Service Policies

JEAMANI is a mobile alterations, tailoring, and custom design service. To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients, please review the following policies before booking your appointment.

Consultation & Booking Policy

All services begin with a consultation and garment evaluation.

During the consultation, we will:

  • Review the garment or design request

  • Discuss the requested services

  • Provide an estimated price for the work

A service is considered booked only after the consultation and once the client agrees to the estimated price.

To secure the booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

This deposit reserves your appointment time and allows JEAMANI to schedule your service.

Payment Policy

JEAMANI offers one payment structure only.

Our payment schedule is:

  • 50% non-refundable deposit due at booking

  • 50% of the remaining balance due at the first fitting

  • Final remaining balance due before the completed garment is released

We do not offer additional payment plans, payment extensions, or delayed payment arrangements.

No COD / No Payment at Pickup

JEAMANI does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) or payment upon pickup.

All balances must be paid in full before garments are released or returned to the client.

Mobile Service Policy

JEAMANI is a mobile service only, meaning all consultations, fittings, and garment evaluations take place at the client’s location.

Clients must provide:

  • A safe environment

  • Adequate space for fittings and measurements

  • Proper lighting for garment evaluation

If the working environment is unsafe or unsuitable, JEAMANI reserves the right to cancel the appointment.

 

Travel Policy

As a mobile service, JEAMANI travels to clients for consultations and fittings.

Travel time is built into our scheduling; however:

  • Appointment booking times are considered estimated arrival windows.

  • Actual arrival times may vary depending on traffic, road conditions, weather, or delays from earlier appointments.

We make every effort to arrive as close to the scheduled time as possible.

If delays occur, clients will be notified.

Clients are expected to be available during the scheduled appointment window.

Alteration Pricing Policy

All prices given before physically evaluating a garment are estimates only.

Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • Fabric type

  • Garment construction

  • Complexity of the alteration

  • Additional repairs required

Clients will be informed of any pricing changes before work begins.

Custom Design Policy

Custom garments require design development, pattern drafting, fittings, and construction.

Because of the labor and materials involved:

  • Deposits for custom garments are non-refundable

  • Fabric and materials purchased for a custom garment cannot be refunded

Once production begins, custom orders cannot be canceled.

Fitting Policy

Fittings are necessary to ensure proper garment fit.

Missing a scheduled fitting may result in:

  • Delays in completion

  • Additional alteration costs

If a client chooses to skip fittings, JEAMANI cannot guarantee final fit results.

​

Rush Order Policy

A rush order is defined as any service requested with a turnaround time of less than one week.

Rush services require significant schedule adjustments and expedited labor.

For this reason:

Rush orders are priced at 2× the original service estimate.

Example:

  • Standard service estimate: $100

  • Rush order price: $200

Rush services are subject to availability and may be declined.

 

Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

No-show appointments will forfeit the deposit paid.

A new deposit will be required to reschedule.

Fraud Prevention Policy

To protect JEAMANI from fraud and payment disputes:

  • Payments must clear before work continues

  • Payment disputes or chargebacks will result in immediate suspension of services

JEAMANI reserves the right to pursue recovery of unpaid balances and costs associated with fraudulent transactions.

 

Garment Pickup Policy

Clients will be notified once garments are completed.

Garments should be picked up or scheduled for return promptly after completion.

Garment Abandonment Policy

Garments not collected within 30 days of completion notification will be considered abandoned property.

EAMANI reserves the right to:

  • Charge storage fees

  • Donate the garment

  • Dispose of the garment

  • Sell the garment to recover service costs

​

Measurement & Fit Policy

Accurate measurements are required for alterations and custom garments.

However, fit may be affected by:

  • Weight changes

  • Different shoes or undergarments

  • Missed fittings

Once a garment is approved at the final fitting, JEAMANI is not responsible for fit changes due to body changes or styling choices.

Additional alterations may require additional service fees.

Client Conduct Policy

JEAMANI provides services in a professional and respectful environment.

Clients are expected to conduct themselves respectfully during consultations and fittings.

JEAMANI reserves the right to refuse or terminate services if a client engages in:

  • Disrespectful or abusive behavior

  • Harassment or inappropriate conduct

  • Unsafe or hostile environments

If services are terminated due to inappropriate conduct, all deposits and payments will be forfeited.

Intellectual Property Policy

All custom designs created by JEAMANI remain the intellectual property of JEAMANI.

Designs may not be reproduced, copied, or manufactured without written permission.

JEAMANI reserves the right to photograph completed garments for portfolio and marketing purposes.

​Mobile Alterations & Custom Design Services

By proceeding with services from JEAMANI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

​

1. Consultation & Service Approval

All services begin with a consultation and garment evaluation.

During the consultation, JEAMANI will review the garment, discuss the requested services, and provide an estimated price for the work to be completed.

A service is considered officially booked only after the consultation and once the client agrees to the estimated service price.

Once the client agrees to the estimate and chooses to proceed, the booking is confirmed and the payment policy below applies.

2. Booking & Payment Policy

After the consultation and approval of the estimated service cost, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.

This deposit reserves the appointment time and allows JEAMANI to schedule the service.

Payment Schedule

JEAMANI offers only one payment structure for all services:

  • 50% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking (after consultation approval)

  • 50% of the remaining balance due at the first fitting

  • Final remaining balance due before the completed garment is released

JEAMANI does not offer additional payment plans, payment extensions, or alternative payment arrangements at this time.

Services will not proceed to the next stage until payments are made according to this schedule.

3. No COD / No Payment at Pickup

JEAMANI does not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) or payment at pickup.

Garments will not be released, delivered, or returned to the client until the full balance has been paid in full.

No exceptions will be made to this policy.

4. Mobile Service Policy

JEAMANI operates as a mobile service only, meaning fittings and consultations take place at the client’s location.

Clients must provide:

  • A safe working environment

  • Adequate space for fittings and measurements

  • Proper lighting for garment evaluation

If the environment is deemed unsafe or unsuitable, JEAMANI reserves the right to cancel the appointment without refund of the deposit.

 

5. Alteration Estimates

All pricing provided prior to physically evaluating the garment is considered an estimate only.

Final pricing may change depending on:

  • Fabric type

  • Garment construction

  • Complexity of the alteration

  • Additional repairs required

Clients will be informed of any pricing adjustments before work begins.

 

6. Custom Design Services

Custom garments require design development, pattern drafting, fittings, and construction.

Because of the labor and materials involved:

  • Deposits for custom garments are strictly non-refundable

  • Fabric, trims, and materials purchased for a custom garment cannot be refunded

Once construction begins, custom orders cannot be canceled.

 

7. Fabric & Materials

Clients providing their own fabric are responsible for ensuring:

  • Adequate fabric yardage

  • Suitable fabric quality

  • Fabric appropriate for the requested garment

JEAMANI is not responsible for fabric defects, including:

  • Weak fibers

  • Dye bleeding

  • Fabric shrinkage

  • Fabric deterioration during construction

 

8. Fittings

Clients must attend scheduled fittings to ensure proper garment fit.

Missing a scheduled fitting may result in:

  • Delayed completion

  • Additional alteration costs

If a client chooses to skip fittings, JEAMANI cannot guarantee the final fit of the garment.

9. Rush Order Policy

JEAMANI prioritizes quality craftsmanship and scheduled service timelines.

A Rush Order is defined as any request requiring completion in less than one (1) week from the time the service is approved and booked.

Due to the scheduling adjustments and expedited labor required, rush orders are priced at two (2) times the original service estimate.

Example:

  • Original service estimate: $100

  • Rush order price: $200

Rush services are subject to availability and may be declined depending on scheduling and garment complexity.

Rush order fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable once the rush service has begun.

10. Cancellation Policy

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

No-show appointments will forfeit the deposit paid.

A new deposit will be required to reschedule services.

 

11. Fraud Prevention & Payment Protection

To protect JEAMANI from fraud and scams:

  • All payments must clear before services continue

  • JEAMANI reserves the right to verify payment information

  • Chargebacks or payment disputes will result in immediate suspension of services

JEAMANI reserves the right to pursue legal recovery of unpaid balances, materials, labor costs, and travel expenses resulting from fraudulent payment activity.

 

12. Garment Pickup

Clients will be notified once garments are completed.

Garments should be picked up or scheduled for return promptly after completion notification.

 

13. Garment Abandonment Policy

Garments not collected within 30 days of completion notification will be considered abandoned property.

JEAMANI reserves the right to:

  • Charge storage fees

  • Donate the garment

  • Dispose of the garment

  • Sell the garment to recover service costs

JEAMANI is not responsible for garments left beyond the 30-day pickup period.

 

14. Measurement & Fit Liability Clause

For custom garments and major alterations, accurate measurements are essential.

Measurements are taken during fittings to create the best possible fit; however:

  • Body measurements may change between fittings

  • Weight fluctuations may occur

  • Posture and undergarments can affect garment fit JEAMANI cannot guarantee final fit results if the client:

  • Gains or loses weight

  • Changes shoes or undergarments used during fittings

  • Misses scheduled fittings

  • Requests changes after final fitting approval

Once a garment has been approved during the final fitting, JEAMANI is not responsible for future fit changes due to body changes or styling choices.

Additional alterations requested after final approval may require additional service fees.

 

15. Liability Disclaimer

JEAMANI will take every reasonable precaution while working on garments.

However, JEAMANI is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Weak or aged fabrics

  • Prior alterations completed by other tailors

  • Fabric deterioration

  • Cleaning or laundering after alterations

Alteration results may vary depending on garment construction and structural limitations.

 

16. Fit Expectations

Alterations improve garment fit but cannot completely reconstruct a garment beyond its structural limitations.

Fit results may vary depending on:

  • Original garment design

  • Available seam allowance

  • Fabric stretch and structure

 

17. Client Conduct Policy

JEAMANI is committed to providing professional services in a respectful environment.

Clients are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner during all consultations, fittings, and appointments.

JEAMANI reserves the right to refuse or terminate services immediately if a client engages in:

  • Disrespectful, abusive, or threatening behavior

  • Harassment or inappropriate conduct

  • Unsafe or hostile environments

  • Disruptive behavior that prevents services from being completed

If services are terminated due to inappropriate client conduct, all deposits and payments made will be forfeited.

 

18. Intellectual Property

All custom designs created by JEAMANI remain the intellectual property of JEAMANI.

Designs may not be copied, reproduced, or manufactured without written permission.

JEAMANI reserves the right to photograph completed garments for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes.

 

19. Agreement

By agreeing to the service estimate and proceeding with a booking, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
